Shreds was founded in the early 1970s and has been run as a family business ever since. The Company started out by hand painting a few childrens aprons on the kitchen table.

Encouraging good clean fun with wipeable aprons, smocks and lunch bags...designed to make cooking, painting and eating Child's Play! Our Character Licensed brands range from traditional book-art characters such as: The Gruffalo, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Guess How Much I Love You, Beatrix Potter and Roald Dahl. We also have popular TV characters such as: Angelina Ballerina, Charlie & Lola, Thomas the Tank Engine, Postman Pat and Shaun the Sheep.

Being the sole UK Distributor of 'Doudou et Compagnie', 'Histoire d’Ours' and 'Baby Nat' we take much pride in knowing that demand for these products is constantly growing! The large collection of French-designed Baby Gifts are beautifully packaged and vary from teddy bears, nursery accessories to activity toys. Keepsake gifts made to treasure!

Kitchen Textiles

Our Home range is a little something for the Mums - 'clothes-saver' apron's for when things get a little bit messy on Kid’s baking days! to laundry bags and oven gloves. With all our products we like to approach the design development with a mum-kid approved focus of practicality and fun.

Shreds offer a design development service on a wide range of products whether it be a simple logo print or complete product design. Shreds have built up a large portfolio of bespoke bags and plastic coated cotton products for a large selection of creditable companies. With contacts in the Licensing world and product manufacturing in the UK and abroad we can offer a wide range of product options for new customers.
